Believe it or not, the first time that I saw this poster was at The Pink in Allentown. Go figure, since Jay “MicroPark” McCarthy slings a good number of the beers (namely Rusty Chain) down there. The poster pretty much says it all – it’s just one in a series of Barkyard posters being tacked up around the city in order to spread the dog park message. From Jay:
“We are using them to create awareness and get the word out about the LaSalle Park off leash area. We have a series of eight and will come out with a new one every couple of months. A special thanks to the Martin Group for concept and design; Eric Frick for photography; Warren Stanek, retouching; United Graphics, printing; Baird Foundation, outreach and educational support.
“We will be having a fundraiser March 13th at Darcy McGee’s from 5:30-7:30pm. Hopefully we can raise enough funds to finish the new Barkyard this spring ’09. We will have an auction, prizes, and drinks and food.”
