A buddy of mine, “Bill Junior”, was allowed to set up a single Canon DLSR in The Aud in order to do some shooting. His intentions were to capture the interior in a way that no one had done yet. He wanted to offer fans a chance to stand inside (virtually) and see it from a different perspective.
The experience is dizzying in its ability to transport each and every one of us into the epicenter of the building. Pan and tilt the moving panorama at will by ‘grabbing’ the screen and directing your mouse. Look straight up at the old scoreboard or follow the seats around in a full circle. Then try the magnification feature. And if you want to see the image completely unobscured, click on the little box that looks like a butterfly graphic. It’s The Aud captured in time (sun beams and all) and it’s completely awesome.
