Burchfield-Penney Art Center Classes

Are you looking to get your kids connected with programming at the new Burchfield-Penney Art Center? Why not expose them to an ultra-contemporary museum setting by enrolling them into art classes? From the beginning, one of the goals of the museum was to offer a secure venue where children could be exposed to the talent of regional artists and their work. The classes are intended to unleash ‘the creative thinking process and expression, along with
skill development’.

Click here to visit the museum’s Studio Classes* page where you can then click on the sign-up form (PDF download). It is there that you will find the itemized listings for classes including Creative Play Date (ages 2-4), Home Schooling at the Museum (inter-age youth), Little Stars (ages 4-6), Creative with Clay (grades 1-3) and Art Club (grades 4-6). There are even program listings for families and adults such as Family Wellness Through Art (families) and Painting from Concept to Canvas (adults).

*Classes begin the week of January 10 and are open to members and “not yet” members of the Burchfield Penney. For information about classes,
contact Katie Kelly at ext. 3216. To book classes, call
ext. 6011.
