A Toast To The Skiffle Minstrels @ Flying Bison Brewery

The last time we went to the Flying Bison Brewery, we were there to toast to the brewing success of Rusty Chain – Buffalo’s Bike-Friendly Beer. Now it looks as if there is another fun reason to head to the brewery (other than to fill up a growler or two). A local band is playing at Buffalo’s beer headquarters on Saturday January 10th. How cool is that? I’ve never even heard of a band playing at the brewery, but it’s true – the Skiffle Minstrels will take to the front ‘loading’ area where Flying Bison serves samples, sells merchandise and fills up spent growlers.

What could be better than pulling up to your favorite brewery in search of Rusty Chain and finding The Minstrels jamming away? It’s a great reason to stick around and learn about the operation. It’s also a chance to mingle with fellow beer-lovers – even the music of choice will be hoppy on that day.

Host: The Skiffle Minstrels
Type: Music/Arts – Concert
Date: Saturday, January 10, 2009

Rusty Chain Beer update: Rusty Chain tee-shirts are now available at Campus Wheel Works (744 Elmwood Avenue) and Rick’s Cycle Shop (55 Allen Street).
