In recent weeks I’ve been getting more and more emails from people who are looking to move back home and are in search of a job. Many of those connections have been made through viral social networking platforms such as Facebook. It’s exciting to see that there is a constant interest from people who are interested in calling Buffalo home again (and some for the first time). It can also be a bit scary because while I would like to see all of these people land jobs, I’m not sure what’s out there. More and more sites are popping that are geared toward the Buffalo job market – I hope that businesses-in-need and prospects are taking advantage of the on-line job matchmakers.
Just today I learned that Jobsapalooza, Western New York’s largest job and internship fair, is gearing up to to be held at the Convention Center 4-7 pm on January 6th. This will be the 11th year that the free job fair is being held. Here are just a few companies that will be representing:
