Buffalo Rising just received this great news from the WNY Chapter of the American Liver Foundation, “Given today’s economic climate we understand people cannot give as much as they would like. Effective today, tickets to Flavors of Buffalo 2008 are reduced to $100.”
Everyone has a favorite restaurant; that special place for celebrations and birthdays. Maybe you love the food, the atmosphere, the whole experience. Ever wonder who’s behind it all or how your favorite chef makes the cuisine so delectable? This is your opportunity to get up close and personal with some of the area’s best chefs.
Flavors of Buffalo features renowned local chefs preparing a 5-course meal, with wine pairings, tableside for you and 9 other guests. Don’t count on eating the house favorites; each chef will showcase their own unique menu. As an event, Flavors lends itself to the creativity of the chefs and their competitive nature; each course features your chef’s individual style.
Not only will your exquisite meal be prepared by a top chef, Flavors of Buffalo also provides guests with the unique opportunity to interact with the chef and observe his well-honed cooking techniques first hand.
And although you will be paired at random with a specific chef for the evening, you won’t miss out on the chance to sample each of the chefs’ cuisine when hors d’oeuvres are passed during cocktail hour.
If there’s any chance that you’re still on the fence about this unique culinary experience, consider that it benefits a worthy, local charity. Proceeds benefit the WNY Chapter of the American Liver Foundation.
By now, the question on everyone’s mind is Which chefs are creating these extraordinary meals?
