Isn’t it nice to know that there are people out there who can make it easy for anyone to be a musician? Buffalo’s very own P22 type foundry has created a program that makes music making merry. It’s so easy that anyone… and I mean anyone… can do it. The program works like this. All you have to do is type out any strand of words, and The P22 Music Text Composition Generator translates the letters into music notes. In a matter of seconds, words can be heard playing before your very eyes… I mean ears.
The P22 Music Text Composition Generator allows any text to be converted into a musical composition. This composition is displayed in musical notation and simultaneously generated as a midi file. Click here to play.
When you command the program to generate the music, the music bars (found at the top of the program) fill in with notes. Then all you have to do is hit play… it’s that easy. Before you can begin, you must enter your text, a user (file) name, beats per minute (BPM) and choose a musical instrument. You can even print your sheet music.
If you enjoy the program, then you may want to check out another crazy font that P22 offers. It’s a program that converts your words into snowflakes. This could be the perfect way to send your Secret Santa a super secret message. Click here to play.
