This Wednesday, November 14th from 6-10pm Buffalo First is hosting its Second Annual Buy Buffalo Bash. This is an opportunity for you to get into the local groove… to mix it up with people behind the businesses that are contributing to the region’s comeback. Last year this party was a big success thanks to the grassroots spirit that drives the local economy. It’s a wake up call of sorts to tune into the efforts being made by those who understand and appreciate the buck that stops here in Buffalo.
The Buy Buffalo Bash is also the celebration that launches Buy Buffalo Week. From the 17th to the 24th organizers are asking shoppers to reconsider where it is that their money is going. Thinking about making an online purchase? Take the time to learn about the local alternatives before sending your cash out-of-town. Gearing up for the holidays? Make a concerted effort to support the commercial enterprises that call Buffalo home. Take a stroll down the commercial shopping districts and become familiar with the merchants in you neighborhood. Or try the next neighborhood to see what it has to offer.
