St. Joseph’s Parish on Main Street is gearing up for their biennial Taste of St. Joseph. There will be various ethnic and cultural dance performances, music, displays, and crafts. The diversity is extensive, including an Irish dance troupe, Caribbean steel band and Ukrainian egg decorating.
The highlight, for me at least, will be the broad range of cuisines available. There will be samples from Croatia, Peru, Pakistan, Egypt, Ireland, the Philippines, China, Puerto Rico, Germany, Greece, Austria, England, Panama, Morocco, South Korea, Poland, Colombia, Italy, and Mexico. And did I mention that it’s free? That’s right, no cost to you. No entry fee, no cost for the food, and free parking at the UB south campus lot or on church property.
Be sure to catch this event as the next Taste of St. Joseph won’t be until 2009!
