What do you see when you take a look at this t-shirt and bag design? Look closely… take your time. Of course you see trees, and a bird or two up in the leaves… do you see a Buffalo? I didn’t when I first glanced at the design in Pavlov’s Togs’ front window. Then I stopped into the shop to say “hey” to Tom (the storeowner), and he asked if I had seen his latest design. I took a glance at the t-shirt, and this time I saw that the four tree trunks were legs and the branches and the leaves made up the body. This was a very thoughtful Buffalo design that has a cool message to go along with it. ‘Keep Buffalo Green’… those are the three words that act as the ‘grass’ (am I reading into it too much now) that the buffalo treads on.
Tom Rooney is always coming up with great designs, and we’ve featured a bunch of them on BRO before. This one steals the show. Of course I’m a big fan of his monsters, robots and crazy kids (don’t worry, they’re just designs), and his Buffalo designs sell like hotcakes too… I guess that I appreciate this design for its optical illusion qualities. The hidden buffalo is perfect nature-related (and Buffalo-related) conversations. The design is also available on bags and baby bibs.
