58 Linden Park has a new owner. New York State Assemblymember Crystal D. Peoples purchased the East Side beauty for $165,000. I profiled the property here back in October. The amazing circa-1925 three-story center-entrance brick colonial looks like it was transplanted from Chapin Parkway.
The home has 3,371 sq.ft, nine bedrooms and four and a half baths on a spacious corner lot and was listed for sale at $179,900. Linden Park runs parallel to the Kensington Expressway between Dodge and Best streets. The leafy street contains about a dozen well-kept homes and a grassy median. It sits across the street from the abandoned German Roman Catholic Orphanage Home that is being eyed for redevelopment. (Stay tuned to BRO for an upcoming exploration of that property).
