Redevelopment Opportunity

A long-dormant downtown building has come up for sale. 477 Main Street, where Wendy,Aeos was the last occupant, is listed at $150,000. According to listing agent Chris Malachowski, the property with entrances on both Main and Mohawk streets is in need of a total rehab.

Current owner Golden Hire Consulting had hoped to relocate its offices to the building from Hamburg. The technology sector executive recruitment firm was looking for a partner to help restore the 5,070 sq.ft. building that it has owned since 2001. The 400 block of Main has seen its fortunes rise recently. 477 Main property is adjacent to the six-story building that Carmina & Wood completely renovated at the corner of Mohawk. Across Main, Ellicott Development is continuing work on the rehab of the former Courtyard Mall into office, retail and residential space.
