Shoppers in Allentown will soon be able to walk up to the former Eminent Design building (corner of Elmwood and Allen) and grab some quick cash. Workers were busy installing the new machine yesterday. What makes this installation so different is the metalwork that is being added to the design. The brushed aluminum gives the ATM machine an urban look that fits in nicely with the neighborhood. The word eAllentowni will be added later as will an illumination feature. The metal fabrication is apparently being done by the new tenant who is moving into the storefront (more on that later). The ATM was installed by the owner of the building.
This is a good corner to see a money machine being installed… especially if you happen to be a local business in the district. This is just one more amenity that the neighborhood has been looking for. Now when families come to pick up their kids at the Elmwood Village Charter School they can stop by the ATM before heading over to Sweet Tooth for some goodies.
