Alison Brooks Architects has developed an international reputation with award-winning work in urban design, housing, interiors and landscape. ABAis work is highly situation-specific blending the design process with disciplines outside the architectural realm. The aim is extend the boundaries of architectural experience both conceptually and materially in order to communicate with a wider audience. ABA recently won a Housing Design Award for a project in Cambridge UK. Other recent work includes an arts/media complex in Birmingham and mixed use/residential developments in Wandsworth and Kingis Cross.
Alison Brooks was born in Canada and educated at University of Waterloo before going to London in 1989. In 1991 she became a founding partner of Ron Arad Associates until establishing ABA in 1996.
