TONIGHT: VIVALDI LIVES WITH ARS NOVA

Music speaks to my soul, and of all the diverse musical selections my ears have feasted on, baroque composer Antonio Vivaldi has taken me to places I never would have imagined. Take his music and combine it with some of the most beautiful churches in our fine city, along with some of our most talented musicians, and you have an evening of unparalleled enjoyment.

It s the Viva Vivaldi Festival XXVII and it s happening each Sunday for the rest of the month. Performed by Buffalo s Ars Nova Musicians under the direction of the BPO s Marylouis Nanna this weekly concert is the place to be for fans of classical music or for just great music in general. The other great feature this series has to offer is the atmosphere of these historic churches where this music is truly meant to be heard.

All concerts take place at 6:30 p.m., a small donation at the door gets you in.
