What: Squeaky Wheel’s long-running free open screening is one of their most popular programs. Who: Filmmakers, video/sound/digital artists, community documentarians, and students of all ages are welcome to bring short works for insightful critique. The open screening is perfect for newly created works or works in progress. Bring works less than 15 minutes. Call ahead to screen a longer work. Squeeky Wheel has created some new mini-themes (you don’t have to make work on the theme, but if it inspires you, go ahead) to get more people in the door! Formats accepted: Super 8, 16mm, video (mini-dv, svhs, vhs, dvd), cassettes and Mac compatible cd-rom. Where: Squeaky Wheel on Elmwood Ave. Why: Because film is cool.
