New Era In Dining?

neweraeats1.jpg
While hanging around New Era headquarters a couple of days ago, the management clued me into a little secret. New Era is looking into the possibility that the general public (visitors to New Era) may one day be able to eat at the Flagship store on Delaware. New Era is researching the viability as to whether visitors might be able to somehow get to the dining area without having to traipse throughout the office facilities.

The plan would make sense in a number of ways. People planning on heading downtown would be able to plan even more time around a visit to the building. And from what I have heard, the employees at New Era are extremely happy with the food. It would be a cool way to generate more traffic around headquarters, and if they can manage to allow visitors to eat up on the rooftop patio, then this could be one of the sweetest places to grab a lunch in Buffalo. Cross your fingers.

I would like to see signage around the building. It's sometimes hard to direct visitors to this building with no address or no big signs that say "NEW ERA" on it. How about a cool TV Screen Sign that rotates with some of the latest pieces, events, and a welcome to New Era Cap Co.?

Years ago, I did some temp work at the Federal Reserve, and the meals we got at the cafe were great. I hope they can figure out a way to open the cafe up to walk-ins.
