Caramel Macchiato @ Spot Coffee
Get in line for caffeinated bliss at Spot Coffee. Whenever I'm back in Buff, Spot Coffee is always on my mind because of drinks like the caramel macchiato. The CM has a shot of vanilla, caramel syrup, espresso, steamed milk and of course whipped cream. Served hot with a cool topping, the heavenly combination of ingredients is the perfect way to get a late afternoon blast. queenseyes snapped a shot of the drink before we sat down to enjoy, and we ordered up a couple scones to eat as well. I noticed that Spot has added an entirely new lunch menu too.
The Spot purple cup and matching straw make my day. Spot is consistently good, and there is always a fun crowd hanging around no matter what time it is. I really love the Elmwood location because it has more of a neighborhood feel - and lots of cozy places to sit. The benches ensure that there is always company surrounding you, and you never know who might come sit at your table... it's always a friendly bunch. I will vote for Delaware an Chip as THE SPoT! Saturday mornings when we see our neighbors shuffling in - we end up all sitting togther - and the ladies behind the counter shouting out our orders before we even get up to the register...
Now, THAT'S customer service. (Especially since one of us orders a "2%, soy, mocha, on wheels, with light whip" - try to remember that one...)
