'Tis the season for Catering

tempo.jpg
This is the time of year that caterers should be keeping busy... the holidays and wedding season. So who in town offers the best catering services and the most delicious food? I know that there are a lot of factors to take into consideration... like some people might be thinking of getting a Bill's party catered with all the fixins’, while others dream of white linen and lace along with lobster dainties. Either scenario is fare game - the question is, whom do you recommend. Myself? I was thinking about hosting a small dinner party down the road, but where do I even start?

Are there places out there that offer meal delivery? I'm not talking about ordering take-out. Some caterers probably require a certain number of guests to attend an event where others might be willing to serve a dinner for two if it's a special occasion. Let's hear who you think is good when it comes to serving up a storm, or providing weekly family-style meals, or maybe there're even a couple of grocery services out there that would be willing to deliver a rotisserie chicken or a salad-for-four in a pinch. If you have a favorite, make sure that you include a phone number so viewers can track 'em down. Photo: Holiday party catered by Tempo.

You can't go wrong with Charlie the Butcher's catering service. You haven't had Beef on Weck until you've tried Charlie's. There's hand carved roast beef, turkey, ham and many other to choose from. You can also choose from a number of sides including salads, pastas and an assortment of condiments. You can pick up your order, have it delivered, or better yet, let Charlie's friendly staff do it all with their full service catering. They'll bring the feast to you and carve it right before your eyes. There's a reason Charlie is Buffalo's food ambassador. Give them a call and "Taste What Buffalo is all About!"

I read that the Coda is offering a Christmas take-away at $30.00 plus tax per person with a deadline for ordering at 10:00am Friday. The menu looks wonderful and features prime rib and roast pork loin. (disclaimer: I am in no way affiliated with the Coda !!).

Late for this year but possible anytime after the first, The Viking Lobster Company has a list of customers for reference. A mobile kitchen, can if necessary, come right to your home or business , and brags a 500 lb. smoker, a 5 foot wood fired grill and the ability to cook 100s of pounds of seafood ( LOBSTER, CLAMS, CRAB, MUSSELS ) on site.
Complete five course dinners have been catered as well as buffets. Logistics, and entertainment can also be arranged. Fund raisers, and events are specialties. If you have been to the restaurant, you know the food and service, you supply the atmosphere and occasion, your party will rock.
