Styling in the shadows!

Sunday evening at Shadow lounge marked a laudable effort by a group of fashion-conscious ladies to showcase the most wearable wears in the city. Fashionista Productions put together a vibrant, energetic, slick show (Pink Chocolate and Fashion Show) featuring some of the finest casuals, evening-wear and lingerie to be found in the Queen City.

The evening began with an elegant, sensual performance by the pretty women of Ilia’s belly dance studio. This was followed by local models strutting in extremely wearable wares from eight of the city’s best boutiques. The evening-wear on display, particularly from Bella Boutique, was reminiscent of any high-profile fashion show in Toronto.

The evening also featured some good food (BRO reps were seen lingering around the chocolate fountain a little too much) and a tango performance by the Arthur Murray Dance Studio.

All in all, a great evening of extremely practical, extremely affordable and extremely beautiful clothing. Watch for future shows put together by the ladies of Fashionista Productions; and the next time you plan a trip to Toronto or NYC for buying designer clothing, pause, take a couple of hours and stroll around Hertel and Elmwood Avenues. Chances are you may very well have saved yourself some very expensive traveling.

I had a wonderful time at the show. Very busy but non the less, I had a great time. The readings were great. Next time you have another show, I will be there to support you with "Tarot" in hand.
