Fly Girl Jacket Found @ Gelsey's

It was over the holiday season when I ran into Roy, owner of Lightmakers of Buffalo, wearing a killer Sean John (Puffy Combs) suit. I asked him where he purchased it and he told me that he picked it up at Gelsey's Fashions in Allentown. Huh? I decided that I had to check out the line of suits, so bunny and I trekked over to Gelsey's to see what sort of fashions they had in store. Right away a manager by the name of Jay greeted us and wanted to know what he could help us find. I was interested in the ten different lines of jeans that could be found, while bunny spotted a Platinum Plush two-tone denim jacket with detachable faux fur cuffs and collar. The garment retailed at $65, which was a steal considering that it would have been jacked up in any other city.
Gelsey's Fashions has a fairly large amount of stock in-house at any given time. Other lines include Pelle Pelle, Roca Wear (Jay Z's line), and the ever-popular Cooji brand. This urban shop has been hooking up customers in Buffalo for ten years. That's a great run... and with Rick's Sneakers located next door the two shops have acted as urban retail anchors for that section of Allen.

Not only is that jacket downright ugly, it looks dirty. I am suprised with the usually great cloths you highlight. To each his own I guess.
hey allentown diva~
My new jacket is the sweetest little fly jacket ever and the cuffs and collar are removable. It is a perfect jacket for the 48* weather buf has been having and i honestly LOVE my new jacket! You should see the back...it has the cutest little tie. I wore it all day yesterday and had many compliments. Come on, with a brand name like Platinum Plush and all of the beautiful details on this one- it is most def one of my fave new jackets ever- and Newell insisted on getting it for me, because it is so urban and it fits me perfectly.
Allentowndiva has obvisously never been outside of Buffalo in the last few years....This style of jacket is very hot in other big cities. It's very Lower East Sideish (NYC). It's funky and creative..which fashion is all about. Do your thang buffalo bliss.
Ms. diva got one thing right - to each his own. (she forgot "if you don't have anything nice to say, then don't say anything at all"!)
Ms. bliss looks hot in her new jacket and it sounds to me like there is a green-eyed monster in her midst. I think the jacket is cool, my girl's birthday is Tuesday and that jacket will be perfect!!!
Jay the manager is unbelievable with his customers. I highly recommend just walking in when you are in that area.
