Dear merchants of Elmwood. Lori Joyce and I are coordinating the first ever "Elmwood Bridal Show" -Sunday Feb 11th 12-5 pm at the Insite gallery 810 Elmwood. This is going to be an opportunity for us to invite brides and their families to see what is in our neighborhood that is different, unique, hip, handy etc for people who are planning weddings this year.
The things we can show are infinate: Flowers, photos, gifts, hospitality, lingere, catering...you know your businesses. So if you want to participate -we'll make the space, invite the people and buy some advertising. Please sign up immediately and send us a check for $20.00. Bring your own table and display... Call me at 716-887-2921 or Lori at 716-834-0104 if you need to talk. Best wishes, Trudy (Tru-Teas)
Thank God. The big bridal shows scare me because they're filled with chocolate fountains, which I detest, and overly perky sales reps from Direct Buy or David's Bridal who shove clipboards in your face until you're so disoriented you agree to watch a cooking demonstration in exchange for a free honeymoon in Mexico. But I keep wanting to go to bridal shows, because they have free cake. Please stick with the creative and unique local vendors rather than the chains!
I agree with Sarah! Smaller, more intimate shows are what I am after. My calendar is marked, and I'm bringing friends! THANK YOU!
