Giving the Gift of Organization

The above little cotton print contraption is a personal organizer that, once manhandled, is an irresistible, practical addition for any girl’s bag(s). Measuring a mere 4.25” x 5.25” the organizer, created by Aster + Sage (headed by RISD grad Linda Yesline), is a fab way to get more together. And who can't use a little more together in these holiday times?
Aster + Sage creates mod-yet-practical products for home, gifts and object management and their various lines may be found online or at Neighborhood Collective at 810 Elmwood Avenue directly across from the Lex Food Co-Op.
Annie Adams, jewelry design goddess, keeps these organizers in stock at her shop – amongst her own shining creations, fine yarn and knitting kits, ceramics and other gift items for sale.
This is a perfect under-$25 gift. For $22 one gets a side with a ready-for-stuff zippered compartment, while the other side features parking spots for cell phone, pen, lipstick/balm and credit cards.
The bag may be attached to any bag strap so all necessities may be found in a flash: the end, perhaps, to bag-within-bag searches. But these demure bags, Annie suggests, are sharp enough to be carried as a clutch. This model was purchased for a harried girlfriend who needs some organization but who is not a fan of purses. Will she dig it? What girl wouldn’t?
I LIKE that!!!!!! Maybe I can do a little post-Christmas shopping for myself next week!
