Get it in the City!

The quest continues for killer products that you can find in the city. Today's search brought us to the front door of the Artisan Kitchens and Baths' (AKB) showroom at Appliance Associates. I know that sounds like a mouthful, but in all fairness the mouthful matches the eyeful. This is just one of those places that you must see to believe. AKB is a kitchen and bath lover's dream. The showroom is open to the public... yes you! Clients are free to wonder from room to room and floor to floor in search of some of serious appliances. Upon walking into the beautiful brick warehouse the first visual that one is greeted with is a modern operational kitchen replete with fridge, stove, keg cooler (with tap), coffee machine, microwave, under-the-counter computer with washable keyboard,... the products are way cool!

This diverse, cavernous homebuilder's paradise is situated just down the street from Elmwood Avenue. Today a couple of us stopped in to check out the coffee makers and (as usual) asked what the newest, coolest gadget was. Jeff, our helpful sales guru, told us to wait right there while he disappeared into the next room. He came out holding a Sanyo Xacti 5.1 megapixel, high-def, digital movie camera with optical 10X zoom. This is a serious toy for a serious photo/movie aficionado. Just when I thought that I had seen everything at this display warehouse, here was a dream camera sitting in front of me. It's not cheap even though it is on sale for $100 off the suggested retail price of $799. Anything that AKB picks up is guaranteed to be thoroughly researched and thoughtfully designed. AKB is located at 200 Amherst Street. 716.873.4100

Jeff & the staff at Appliance Associates have an excellent facility and run a top drawer operation. They are a true anchor and play an important role in the "new buzz" on Amherst Street. They are suppliers of world class products. Amherst Street is experiencing an influx of new businesses & new investment. The hard work & dedication of the Grant Amherst Business Association (GABA) is paying off. Keep up the good work !

I thought that thing was a cufflink. I don't suppose they have cufflinks...?
