Christmas Trees @ The General Store

xmasqweffw.jpg
‘Tis the season to start looking for a Christmas tree… at least for those people that celebrate the holiday. The first neighborhood shop to stock the green pines (that I am aware of) is the Lexington General Store, corner of Ashland. The trees recently arrived, and customers can choose between a blue spruce (6' $25, 7' $30), or a Douglas Fur (6' $30, 7' $35). There's even a tabletop size at four feet priced at $20. The small trees are perfect for apartment living, while the seven footers would make the grandest of gathering rooms look full.

The Lexington General Store has been bringing more and more types of holiday items onto the street in hopes of accommodating the neighborhood shoppers. If you're looking for a tree this holiday season, make sure that you stop into the small, independently owned shops to see what sort of selection they have. The Lexington General Store is located at 230 Lexington Avenue in Buffalo.
