Shopping IS Clutch

Clutch has opened its doors on Elmwood and just the look of the new space is enough to get shoppers excited. Shoefly Sue came up with a few very creative displays to show off her lines of casual and dressy accessories. She has set up a couple of ladders in the middle of the showroom floor, and shelves placed on the steps allow for plenty of merchandise to be displayed. Su has incorporated little Mexican tassel-yarn balls into the look to add a playful vibe to the shop. Clutch is a dream store for those that love purses, bags, jewelry, hats/scarves, etc., but more than that, the shop fills a role in helping to promote the Elmwood cool factor.
When I paid a visit to Clutch last week there were already a bunch of shoppers checking out the goods. The response to the space has been wonderful already. The old wood floors are brilliant, the colorful merchandise is eye catching, the price points are reasonable, and the location is one of the best in the city. The shop even stocks fun socks for guys. I picked up a pair with motorcycle images (not your everyday dress sock) that will be fun to wear to parties. Sue is thinking about picking up some more lines for guys and is curious about what things they are looking for. If you have any suggestions fellas, leave a comment. I suggested boxers. Clutch is located at 814 Elmwood Ave in Buffalo.
