100 Models of Caps on the wall...

new-era2wefw.jpg
Here is a first glimpse at the interior of New Era Cap Company based in Buffalo NY. It's a look into Buffalo's future. This heavy hitting company is about to unveil a most exciting (and inviting) sports headwear and apparel flagship store to downtown Buffalo. It's only the second flagship store in their (soon to be) fleet, commanding a 1600 sq' public space where the company's best selling sports and Buffalo-centric lines will be available for purchase seven days a week.

The dynamic gallery/museum is now aglow with wave-like, lit ceiling features, a bowling alley-esque hallway, cap-valet molded wall units, and floor to ceiling glass window panels. This is not your average Athlete's Foot Store, that is for sure. The tricked-out grand entranceway will soon beckon customers inside where they will be greeted by a stylishly hip, sport-lovers paradise. This is just the beginning too. The cap company is unveiling huge marketing measures that will take the surrounding area by storm (coinciding with next week's grand opening). The retail faction of the operation will be open to the public November 25th, so get ready to gear up for a sweet ride with the guys who brought custom-fitted ball caps to the world. A home run for Buffalo if there ever was one.

Holy crap! This really looks amazing! I used to think I would miss the federal employees who worked for the Federal Reserve. But I have to admit this is sooooooo much better. I guess it goes to show that when bad things are happening, like a building being vacated, maybe it's just making way for something better on the horizon.

Bill Hovey, the Architect, hits a home run. Bill has consistently hit the long ball during his career. This ones out of the park. Grand Slam. Congratulations to Bill, and the entire BHNT team.
Can't wait till their open. Who can't use another baseball cap???

Now is an opportunity to build on the momentum that this project will create.
IDEA: Take some of that Bass Pro money and throw it at Dicks or Gallions to build a world-class sporting goods store across the street at the corner of Delaware and Huron. This is pretty much a vacant lot at present.

Wow. This is way more than what I expected. I did expect good things, but this is downright impressive. I look forward to next week's opening.
Love the title of this post QE....

Just to nitpick (because that is my nature) how can there be two flagships in a fleet ? It seems to me that either it is or it is not.

OMG--How freakin awsome this looks...So modern...impressive retail space and in Downtown Buffalo! Right on New Era. You found yourself a new customer..me!

Hope this cool store spurs interest from other retailers to move downtown.
FYI- I am so happy this will be open 7 DAYS A Week. I am guessing this will be the only retailer open downtown on a Sunday , or at least only the begining?

Can't wait for this one!

I'm pretty sure the same company can have two flagships if they want - even if it goes against the true meaning of the word.

Macy's has what it calls "flagship" locations in New York, Chicago, and San Francisco.
