Made in Buffalo

I love walking into a shop and discovering that the product that catches my eye is made in Buffalo. That was the case yesterday when I stopped in to say "hey" to Erin at Sweet and Dirty. As we were chatting I noticed this cool skirt made out of reused men's neckties. If only the designer had been around when Britney Spears made her high school video.
The tie-skirt is designed by a Buffalo girl by the name of Norelle and it retails at $35. Sweet and Dirty had a couple different color combinations in stock, and the sizes are running small to medium at the moment. The skirts may be custom ordered by size - there's a zipper that runs the length of the back. I can't wait to see the first girl walking around Buffalo in this number... the first two skirts happened to arrive at the shop yesterday. Sweet and Dirty is located at 585 Potomac Ave. in Buffalo. Girls can rock neckties anyday! You could dress that skirt up for work or throw on your favorite flip flops and stroll the Elmwood strip. I love the fall colors as well. Just another excuse to go shopping :) See you tomorrow Erin!!
My cousin just sent me this link because I actually have a tie skirt that I wore to his wedding 5 years ago. It's a great way to use some old ties, and people never believe they're really ties. You'll get great comments on this skirt. :)
