With our city becoming a tad trendier these days, how we dress is outwardly changing. With new clothing line comes more fun options. Each store adds to the vitality of the city, and fresh designs and styles can be attributed to the creative storeowners who introduce forward fashion to Buffalo. One such shop, Sweet & Dirty, located at 585 Potomac Avenue in the fashionable Elmwood Village, offers the latest looks for all ages. The shop’s owner, Erin, carries the sickest female pieces from LA, NYC, Vancouver, and even right here in the Queen City on the Lake. Stop by now to check out the fresh Fall/Winter lines which includes designs by Spiwak, Goorin, Rojas, J Brand Skinny Jeans, and Gentlefawn.

From a night out on the town to shopping, or just walking around, we have found the big city trends making headway to Buffalo. Oversized purses, bubble skirts, and skinny jeans are all the rage right now in the world of fashion, which is why Erin keeps a close eye on these trends, and her customers keep a close eye on her store.

Erin looks for the locals, ex-pats, visitors and college students to shop at S&D. She’s not located on the Elmwood Strip, so her lines must broadcast themselves to shoppers by word of mouth (from satisfied customers). With each new dress or outfit that walks out the door, there is a fashion statement that is going to work for the store. When the public sees these lines hitting the streets the ultimate question is, “Where did it come from?” I am on a constant search for the latest trends and S&D always delivers.
