It’s that time of year again – time for one of the most exciting bike races to kick into high gear in Delaware Park. This is an event that is almost as much fun for the onlookers as it is for the cyclists. Bring your cow bells and cheer on the cyclists as they race around the course.
According to cross organizers at Campus Wheelworks, “We will be hosting our 3rd annual cyclocross bicycle race called ‘Cross in the Park’. Cyclocross is a unique discipline of cycling that takes riders through a taped off course consisting of off camber turns, mud, and steeple chase like barriers that force riders to dismount and carry their bikes over them. Riders complete 5-10 laps on the course, so there is constant action for spectators.”
