“Historical Overview of Artwork By Members of the Buffalo Society of Artists, 1891 to the Present,” presented by BSA past president and current member, Gerald Mead. The presentation will feature images created by local members of one of the oldest continually operating arts organizations in the country. In addition, poster-sized boards of imagery and text featuring member art grouped in roughly thirty-year periods since the BSA s founding in 1891 will be on display.
Created by the BSA, these boards continue the Buffalo Society of Artist s mission to promote and expand the awareness of the work of Western New York artists.
1:30 p.m. at the Pan-Am Building, 25 Nottingham Terrace, Buffalo.
Admission is $6.00 for adults, $4.00 to seniors and to students, and free to members of the Buffalo and Erie County Historical Society and to current members of the Buffalo Society of Artists.
