Are you ready for the festival this year? The Allentown Art Festival is just one year shy of its 50th birthday bash. The festival has grown to be one of the leading art celebrations in the country, with artists traveling from all over the country to display their crafts. At the same time, the city can look forward to an influx of thousands of people who come to browse, buy, and take in the sights and sounds of one of the city’s most dynamic neighborhoods.
Look for The Hamlin House to be a food and drink destination as always, along with Colter, Prespa, Frizzyis, Brick, Hardware, etc. Needless to say, people partake in myriad festivities throughout the show. Keep in mind that Allen West is an offshoot of the festival where you can find many local artists setting up and showcasing their latest work. What will the hot item this year? A Shepardis garden stake, a spinning copper lawn sprinkler? It’s always interesting to see what festival goers will scramble for. It all takes place Saturday, June 10th to Sunday, June 11th from 11am to 6pm.
