Video: 48HR's Best Film: “X-Day”

The 48 Hour Film Project made its first stop of its 6-year history, in Buffalo this past August. 19 teams participated in the inaugural stop, and their films were screened for the public on the 15th and 16th of August.
Winners were as follows:
Best Film: "X-Day" Point Blank Films
Best Directing: "InSecurity" BeHold
Best Writing: (Tie) "X-Day" Point Blank Films and "Boys Gone Wild" Silver Screen Geva Team
Best Editing: "Final Cut" Idle Entertainment
Best Acting: "Boys Gone Wild" Silver Screen Geva Team
Best Cinematography: "InSecurity" BeHold
Best Sound Design: "Boys Gone Wild" Silver Screen Geva Team
Best Use of Character: "Life's Elixir" Ollognod Productions
Best Use of Prop: "The Signal" RPM
Best Use of Line: "Beatrix" That's Not Popcorn
Best Musical Score: "Life's Elixir" Ollognod Productions

Daniels Brings Exhibit To Buffalo
Back in April, Melanie Majewski submitted a wonderful article on Errol Daniels. In it, she goes in to great detail about the artist’s background and photographs. Art in the 10th Street Garden
The 10th Street Community Garden project of Patrick Cain says farewell to Summer with an outdoor art opening event this Saturday, September 6.
