David and Gaetana Schueckler have made The TreeHouse on the corner of Auburn and Elmwood Avenues a favorite destination for children, anyone who ever was a child, those who have or know children, and those of us who refuse to grow up.
Aside from stocking toys that fulfill good fluffy fun to toys that teach, David and Gaetana are cornerstones of the community. Their sponsorship of Pound Hounds and Friends, during the Elmwood Avenue Festival of the Arts, provides the charity with their largest fundraiser of the year.
David and Gaetana always have a great suggestion for any gift purchase, and the store is staffed with cheerful, knowledgeable and helpful people ready to assist. The gift-wrapping is fabulous too, making a package from The TreeHouse the best kind to receive, inside and out.
It’s time to gear up for summer at The TreeHouse. Whether for a rainy day or a park outing, fun begins with something good from The TreeHouse.

Certainly, Kennedy has "been around politics" all of her life, which is to say she was born into a family of politicos and lived in the White House--neither of which would necessarily f …
Free light rail rides on downtown's above ground section could be derailed thanks to the Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority's budget mess. That is the news coming out of a Buffalo Place meeting this morning. Facing a budget shortfall and reduced State operating assistance, the NFTA is scrambling for new revenue sources and is contemplating charging for rides along the lengthy downtown pedestrian mall.

We did all our Christmas shopping for our nieces & nephews in one lovely day last year. In and out in about 30 minutes with bags full of nicely wrapped gifts. How do you beat that?
