"Take a nap for as long as you would cook the sweet potatoes"

Normally Roo Buckley, owner of Coda Restaurant, likes to cook and serve his creations at his own restaurant. Once a year however, this guy sets up his restaurant to be a Thanksgiving production house. Roo feels for those of us that are left without somebody to cook a quality Thanksgiving meal. That's why he is the man when it comes to home delivery for Turkey Day. Roo puts it best, "Why go through all the hassle of waiting in the grocery store lines, preparing for hours (even days), not being able to enjoy the day yourself, and then cleaning up for hours after everyone has left? Doesn't sound like fun."
Yes, there are a lot of people that enjoy cooking this 'meal of meals'. There is a real art to mastering the art of Thanksgiving cooking. 'Braising, boiling, steaming, baking, saut/(c)ing'... sounds tough. Let your guests think that you spent the day hovering over a hot stove. They might even help you to do the dishes... that's the one thing that Roo will not be there to help you with. And get this... it's only $12 per person. That's cheaper than Boston Chicken! Orders must be called in by November 20th. Coda Restaurant (behind Kleinhans) 716.362.0435 | Venture below to see menu options:
Herb roasted turkey breast, Coca-Cola glazed ham, stuffing, mashed potatoes, candied sweet potatoes, rustic cranberry sauce, local harvest applesauce, gravy (turkey or redeye), roasted squash, green bean casserole, succotash, maple glazed carrots, peas and pearl onions in butter, mince tart, pumpkin tart, apple tart, chocolate tart... need I say more?
Hey Roo, if this works would you consider one day of delivery for a meal like this during the rest of the year? This sure beats out pizza and subs. Maybe change it up quarterly? You would have a regular customer here. I'd sign up for the program ;)

I love the Coda. And this will save my fiance and I from having to eat my mother's "medieval Thanksgiving" experiments with leeks and game hens.

Oyster dressing, Steamed Clams and Lobster, to truly make the day authentic, other than those additions this sounds like a great deal. In fact, if our plans fall thru we may choose to order.

Redeye Gravy is Bacon Fat and Flour and Hot Sauce with a bit of ham stock to make it thin. Think of a bacon flavored bechamel with a kick!!
Yummy!!!
