Shark Attack!

Shark is the world’s number two selling energy drink. However, it does not really have much of a presence in the US yet. According to Christina Wallace, a marketing assistant for the company, the CEO of Shark USA, Moe Boukadida, spearheaded its release and change of location to Buffalo.
Having taken a business trip and experiencing Shark, Boukadida thought it would be a good idea to get involved. Wallace says that Boukadida really acted as the front-runner. “Basically, it had to do with the current president, Moe. We’re working very well around Buffalo through the connections he’s made with his business.”
Wallace says Buffalo was chosen because of the atmosphere. She describes the people as energetic and very involved in the local scene. “Buffalo is a great market for any kind of new product,” says Wallace.
Shark is heavily involved with Bayou, a new bar on Chippewa. Their Sharkettes help sell the product and the upstairs lounge is the "Shark Lounge." With a presence in over 70 countries, it will be interesting to see how big of a splash Shark will make in the oceans of Buffalo. Since they have already been a presence at Buffalo Bills games and other popular sports, it very may well be a cannonball. This summer Shark will be involved with Cruise Nights and the Family Values Tour. Be sure to scope them out there.

So after fireworks and celebrations on Friday and Saturday, some, if not many, Buffalonians will no doubt be hung over and tired. That’s okay. Take Sunday, skip church, and sleep in till the afternoon. Just make sure you’re up and ready to go around 2:30 PM so you can make it on time to Cozumel Grill for Sunday Bloody Sunday.
Between 3 and 6 PM, Cozumel at 153 Elmwood Avenue runs drink specials on Bloody Mary’s and Vodka drinks. A Blood Mary will only cost you $4.50 and a V …

Here's a rerun of a post Steel did two and a half years ago. A building with an already rich history back then, it has even more of a story to tell now. Fortunately, due to the hard work and foresight of a group of neighbors, preservationists, a great lawyer and a developer with the wherewithal and vision to turn an imminent demolition around, one of Steel's favorite buildings has a future too.
This marvelous edifice is on Jersey Street just west of Richmond. It is on a great …
E Square Capital, LLC is busy converting a former factory at 937 Broadway near Fillmore Avenue into a mix of 43 studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments plus first-floor commercial space. Eran and Randy Epstein purchased the four-story building in 2002 from Mauntner Co., a jewelry display case manufacturer that vacated the structure in 2000.
“This residential development fills a huge need and is a great opportunity to bring quality, affordable housing to the Broadway-F …

I think TBN said the office has 15 people..... It isn't significant but maybe that'll change if they grow their US business.

Agreed, If Shark gets larger it isn't inconceivable that their office here would grow larger as well.
Do they have any other larger North American offices like Labatt which would become the growth location or is Buffalo their only foothold? Either way great news!

Shark can do a Red Bull and buy the Bills. Then they could call Ralph Wilson Stadium "the Shark Tank" and watch in wonderment as football fans try to connect those dots with "snowy land-locked Buffalo". Dismayed by such a play against type? Just a week ago this site was humping beach sand.
