Roots Blow-Out at Nietzsche's Tonight
Buffalo's favorite cosmic cowboys, The Steam Donkeys, join forces with Sun of Memphis for a marathon roots-rock hoedown tonight at Nietzsche's, 248 Allen Street.
The fun starts at 6 p.m. with a twilight performance by Sun of Memphis, known for their revved-up, high-octane renditions of vintage American rock n' roll songs. The Donkeys, best known for their unique blend of hardcore country, rockabilly, western swing, bluegrass, 60s surf rock and spaghetti western twang, will take the stage at around 10:30 p.m.
This is gonna be a barn burner, folks. Both bands will play on the front stage, so look for some bar walking at some point in the night and expect lots of special guests.
