If you're into science and you're looking to support the Museum of Science, then you don't want to miss this awesome event. Actually, the Museum of Science has been hosting a series of unique gatherings in recent years, but it is the Museum's Attic that actually gets you into places that not many people will ever get the chance to see. The museum's collection is so vast, that at any given time there is a fraction of items showing to the public. Even when exhibits rotate, that only showcases another small part of the overall collection. That's why this fundraiser is so special.
On Saturday, October 4th, be sure to attend the 5th Annual Museum’s Attic from 6:30pm to 11:00 pm. Tickets are $75 and include dinner/dessert - cash bar is available. This year there will be a museum-wide treasure hunt and a curator-led behind-the-scenes tour. Live entertainment will also be provided. *All proceeds to benefit the educational programs of the Buffalo Society of Natural Sciences.
Further information on Museum’s Attic is available by calling 716-896-5200. Tickets may be purchased online at www.sciencebuff.org.

Could anyone think of a better use for a casino windfall to Buffalo and to NYS than to ask for both the city and state to direct their funds to a full restoration, expansion including a decking over the Kensington for our beloved Science Museum.
Few cities can rival our abundance of cultural amenities. Particularly our Science Museum, our Historical Museums, our Pan Am and Presidential Museums, our Karpelles, our transportation and our Lower Lakes Museum, our Air&Naval + our new Aerospace museum....all the way to our art museums.
Buffalo does need a Childrens Museum!
But the Science Museum is really one of those particularly special jewels in the Buffalo crown and its an anchor for the eastside located between City Honors/Masten Armory and Central Terminal.
