Granite Works Open House
The Granite Works is holding an open house this weekend, June 3rd and 4th from 11 am n 2 pm. First Amherst Developmentis mixed-use loft and retail project located at 846 Main Street features 28 residential units ranging in size from a 746 sq.ft. one-bedroom to a 1,603 sq.ft. two-level corner unit. Each apartment features fully-applianced kitchens, 14i ceilings and oversized windows.
Units, starting at $895.00 per month, will be ready for July/August occupancy and over twenty percent are pre-leased. The development also features 4,600 sq.ft. of street-level specialty retail space. Floorplans are available at the project website.

Larry Griffis III is a well-known Buffalo figure whose experience with steel is not only his passion, but his birthright. Some may know of his father’s sculpture park in South Buffalo, founded in the 60s, but his son has taken up the torch and is now a world-renowned sculpture. Though they only began in 2002, the 18-person Vocalis Chamber Choir have already made a name for themselves. Vocalis’ first CD was praised by the Buffalo News, is played regularly on WNED-FM, and they perform regularly through WNY, Toronto, and Pittsburgh.
