Work started on returning two-way traffic to Main Street's 700 block on Monday. Yesterday, Avalon Development made a strategic purchase on the same block where it has been working since 2001. The development company headed by Chris Jacobs acquired 715 Main Street at the northeast corner of Tupper. The highly-visible building contains 6,110 sq.ft. of space with coveted rear parking along Washington Street. Plans for the building are not known.

Now we're talking... this Sunday (2pm-5pm), 250 incoming Medaille freshman are going to be heading down to the Commercial Slip. It's a joint effort between Medaille College and the Buffalo Tours program.
