Fleet Feet Clinic Tonight
Just a reminder, at 7:15 Pm tonight we will be hosting a clinic on myofascial release. Mike Adesso, Director of Physical Therapy at University Sports Medicine and an annual member of the Runner Forum panel will be presenting a discussion on the proper techniques for myofascial release. Mike will provide information on injury prevention and rehabilitation using devices like foam rollers and the Stick to relieve trigger points.
The clinic is free and open to everyone. Join us for our Poker run at 5:45 PM and stick around for the clinic. Every Wednesday we host a group run from the store. Generally the group runs 4-6 miles. When the run begins the store draws 4 cards, each returning runner draws a fifth card and the highest poker hand wins a prize. Tonight we will be giving away a Pearl Izumi portable CD player. Sabres Keep Hope Alive
To be honest, I went out Wednesday night planning to chronicle the last night of this hockey season in Buffalo.
After the way Ottawa crushed the Sabres in Monday night’s third game of the Eastern Conference Finals, physically and spiritually, in perhaps the most one-sided 1-0 game ever played in any sport, the logical conclusion was that Buffalo’s seven-month run as the new glamour team of the National Hockey League was in its death throes.
