While eating at Betty's the other day I noticed that Dining Out For Life is coming up soon. The national campaign is really quite something and it's fun and easy to participate. Just pick your favorite restaurant to attend on April 29th and a large portion of the proceeds end up going to fight AIDS. A few of the restaurants even donate 100% to the cause. There are even one or two places that have come out of relative obscurity to rally that night... I'm taking a closer look at listing for the ECC City Campus EM Statler Dining option (have not tried it yet).
Of course there are a ton of exceptionally big-hearted restaurants on the billing for that evening. If you have ever participated in Dining Out For Life, then you know that the reservations can fill up fast. Be sure to call your friends and book a table - it's extra exposure for the restaurants and you can feel good that your money was spent on a delicious meal that will make a big difference. Click here to view the restaurants and make your own choice.

I didn't realize this thing was so big across the country. Friends and i have gone out to eat in the past & it's always a good time. An aside...i believe the ECC city campus restaurant serves just lunch...from what i understand their food is great.

Make sure to come to Rizzo's on New Rd. where yours truly will be serving as ambassador (if only for one night).
Please patronize one of these restuarants on April 29.

I'm at La Tee Da - they're closed Tuesdays but they're holding their event the next night!
P.S. LauraS I think I know you from our UB days.

This truly is a great event; one that is so wonderfully easy to participate in! Dining Out For Life includes restaurants that range from casual to fine dining - and the best part is that all you have to donate is your appetite! In case you have not decided on a restaurant to dine at as of yet, this year I will be greeting diners as an ambassador at DiGiulio & Co. on Hertel Avenue. DINE OUT - FIGHT AIDS!
