This weekend, The Nutcracker is being presented with Ballet Met of Columbus, Ohio at Shea’s Performing Arts Center at 2pm on Saturday and Sunday, November 24 and 25. Tickets are still available through the Shea’s Box Office at 852-5000.
The Holiday Pops has a three performance run Friday and Saturday, December 7 and 8, at 8pm, and Sunday at 2:30 pm. A flurry of activity and entertainment for the whole family, the performance features Paul Safy, winner of Buffalo American Idol. and Sue O’Neil from STAR 102.5 as narrator.
The Classical Christmas concerts are on Friday and Saturday, December 15 and 15, featuring many winter favorites, including Handel’s Messiah and Vivaldi’s Winter from The Four Seasons..

For Amy Taravella, this weekend means her solo in what took two years to accomplish. The artist has been working in an intensive two-week creation session with three other artists in four different cities in two different countries. Together, they have scrapped together funds to combine their talents and create a unique production based on the four humours.
