Blues Fest 2008 This Sunday


Blues Fest 2008 is headlined by international recording stars Duke Robillard with special guest Jerry Portnoy, Big James & The Chicago Playboys, and Eric Jerardi.
Joining the lineup are local blues legends Barbara St. Clair, Billy McEwen, Mark Winsick, Gretchen Schultz, Mr. Conrad, Rod Nickson, Jack Civiletto, Willie Haddath, Shrimp Daddy, Denzel Ward, Blueshounds and several special guests.
A motorcycle run prior to the event begins at 10 am and ends at Blues Fest. Registration for the run is from 8 to 9 am at Native Pride Travel Plaza- 11359 Southwestern Blvd. in Irving.
Tickets for the event are available at the Lafayette Tap Room, 391 Washington Street, Native Pride Travel Plaza, Tickets.com, and all Tops locations for $20 ($35 for bike run and festival). A portion of the proceeds will benefit the American Diabetes Assocation.
