B...I....L...L...S! Bills! Bills! Bills!

The Bills had nothing to lose going into the Meadowlands this Sunday going up against the playoff contending Jets. Eric Mangini has been coaching his team to some great wins in recent weeks, and thought this home game would be another easy win. The Bills had other ideas.
Willis McGahee loves running against the Jets and it showed today. He ran so well he got sick and had to change jerseys after throwing up on himself in the first half. He came back strong and continued to pound the rock down the Jets throats. I'm excited about McGahee's performance today and would like to see more games like this from him for the rest of the season.
Our defense was the other story for the Bills today. We played tough all day long, forcing turnovers when they were needed most. Nate Clements had a huge interception which he took back for a touchdown before the half to set the tempo for the rest of the game.
Aaron Schobel had another monster game today, which is ironic since I like to call him our "monster" on defense. He is one of the most underrated players on defense, but that won't be the case for long since he continues to rack up the stats week in and week out. London Fletcher-Baker's interception with six and a half minutes left in the game was a huge play, and sealed the win for the Bills.
Another key player in this game was J.P. Losman. He has been improving every week, and against the Jets he showed that he is ready to lead a team to victory. He was calm under pressure and seemed under control for the entire length of the game. I really like the way J.P. is playing and I'm excited to see what he has in store in the future.
The coaching staff was another positive aspect in the win today. There were no bad decisions, no bad calls, and no wasted time outs. I applaud Coach Jauron for sticking with his game plan and taking down the hot up and coming coach Eric Mangini.
The Bills have the Dolphins coming to town next week who are flying high after their shutout win against the Patriots at home. Buffalo needs to have a perfect offensive game plan against Miami who has a unstoppable defense at the moment. I think the Bills have enough momentum to take down the Dolphins next weekend, what do you think?

To be honest, I went out Wednesday night planning to chronicle the last night of this hockey season in Buffalo.
After the way Ottawa crushed the Sabres in Monday night’s third game of the Eastern Conference Finals, physically and spiritually, in perhaps the most one-sided 1-0 game ever played in any sport, the logical conclusion was that Buffalo’s seven-month run as the new glamour team of the National Hockey League was in its death throes.
Teams come back from 3-0 deficits …
Shows how much I know.
Last week’s preview of the Eastern Conference Finals between the Buffalo Sabres and the Ottawa Senators was rife with wisecracks about John Muckler, Ray Emery, Daniel Alfredsson and even the Roman Senate.
All wrong, as it turns out, with the possible exception of the bit about the machismo exhibited by ancient Rome’s legislative body.
I was not, however, the only one in these parts who badly underestimated Ottawa, judging from Buffalo’s performance …
