Big Orbit Gallery Seeks Submissions

WE NEED YOUR ART! (But it's gonna cost ya...(But not that much, really. only twenty bucks.)
Big Orbit Gallery is seeking submissions for its annual Members Exhibition to be held February 10 - March 17, 2007. An opening reception will be held at Big Orbit Gallery on Saturday, February 10 from 8:00-11:00 PM.
* All current, new, and renewing members of Big Orbit are invited to participate.
* If your work is larger than 24 x 30 inches you may submit one piece. If your work is smaller than 24 x 30 inches you may submit two pieces.
* While it hasn't happened in the past space limitations may prevent exhibiting all submitted work in which case one piece per member will be exhibited. Such determinations will be made by Big Orbit staff at the time of installation.
* All work should be ready to hang, meaning matted and/or framed. All work should be labeled with artist's name, title, process, date, and sales price.
* Video submissions are limited to works or excerpts not exceeding 10 minutes in length. If you wish to submit a longer piece for screening you must provide your own equipment.
* Select work will be exhibited on Big Orbit's website - www.bigorbitgallery.org

Drop-off dates are Saturday, February 3 from 12 - 5 PM or Sunday, February 4 from 12 - 5 PM, or by appointment (call Sean at 560-1968, and work can also be dropped off at CEPA for you downtowners).

Though it may only be the fifth time since 1992 that the Albright-Knox Art Galley has increased its admission rate, the higher fee speaks to the changing face of our society and economy.
