In Part One, we explore the interiors of three of the loft spaces and discuss design elements, floor plans, site location, and anticipate the culture of the space once the residents are in place.
Part Two will discuss the amenities and public spaces that will be available, as well as show progress on the "new builds", show the site plan and artist renderings of the six buildings currently being constructed behind the renovated site. Residency will commence in June in the main space, with the new buildings anticipated to be completed in August of this year. Many thanks to Eva Hassett, Bryan Day, and Michael Deluca, architect of Hamilton Houston Lowrie.
Anyone with interest in applying for residency should contact Bryan Day with the Belmont Shelter Corp. at 884.2358, ext. 326. More information is also available at the ArtSpace Buffalo website. The building is located at 1219 Main Street, 14209.
