I went to his website. David appears to be very busy. I like his work converting the landmark American Radiator Building in NYC into a world class hotel (Bryant Park). If only we could recruit him to bring the Statler back to life.

Bring the Statler back to like...how about giving this guy the B-P museum and see his vision of modernism instead of the modern version of 1970s blank wall brutalism that the B-P gave us!

YES!!! exactly! Modern design is not the problem. Its these medicore crap designers that local public projects seem to attract. From the waterfront to the B-P art center. We need to bring in architects of Chipperfield's caliber to convince ourselves that amazing things can be done in a sensitive context, with a modern sensibility and a lean budget. Buffalo cannot play this game of catching up with other cities. We need to be diffrerent. We need to be a smart small unique city that is rich with culture!
