Andiamo!

I have peaked in through the lobby windows on numerous occasions to get a glimpse at the interior, which looks as if you could spend a few days cleaning up and open it to the public. The furniture is all still in there, as is much of the ornamentation. The space looks to be quite large, and boasts incredible window seating overlooking Delaware Avenue. There is a grand entrance within the BAC building really gives a guest the sense that he or she should expect only the best from whatever restaurant is inside. Fortunately, the owners of La Marina have already shown that they can operate a successful restaurant... it will be exciting to see this location reopen with quality tenants. According to the article in Business First, operators are waiting to secure the liquor license. The menu includes items like frittatas, panini, salad, soup, sandwiches, biscotti, muffins, espresso, cappuccino, and latte.
Andiamo! (Let's Go!) is located at 69 Delaware Avenue

Last year, around 4,000 people packed in the area between Michigan Ave. and Elm St. by 145 Broadway St. in downtown Buffalo for the Queen City Jazz Festival. This year, president of The Colored Musicians Club (CMC) of Buffalo, George Scott, says “The crowds have been getting bigger and bigger as it goes on.”
As the fourth annual festival, this year promises to be a big event. There will be a beer tent and food vendors and this year the gallery to the CMC will be open. The gal …
There are some people who dabble in the game of chess, and then there are those who live the game. I've been reading about a few different chess clubs in Buffalo, but not being an avid player I'm not sure which ones are best for different levels of play. Some of the tournament play that I have heard about is only to be left to the experts. That's why I finally decided to post on a beginners series in August that takes place at the Main Place Mall.
The Archangel 8 Chess Academy is …
Moe Boukadida grew up in Tunisia, North Africa, attended college in Russia, is fluent in four languages, and calls Buffalo "home".
The owner of the American rights to Shark Energy Drink started his first entrepreneurial venture long ago, at the age of 13, and with the exception of a few glitches that furthered his business sense, he has soared upward ever since.
"I started my first venture when I was 13. My friend's father sold computers, and I would buy parts from him and se …
On July 8, US District Court Judge William M. Skretny determined the Seneca Nation of Indians could not legally operate a gambling casino on their nine-acre Michigan Avenue site. “Business as usual,” said Seneca Nation President Maurice A. John, Sr. the day after the decision. Nearly two weeks later, gambling continues in the temporary facility and work on the permanent casino is proceeding.

The term is actually 'panino', but Americans pronounce it in its pluralized form all of the time, regardless of correct usage.
The Italian word 'panino' describes a small roll used to make sandwiches. Some are hot and some are cold, but in our culture it has come to mean a sandwich that is made by coating the bread with butter or oil and grilling it under pressure, much like a grilled cheese that is enhanced by the constant pressure of a spatula. Most restaurants have a "panini press" that cooks the sandwich more quickly by applying heat from both sides. Customarily, the ingredients of a panini are of a higher quality than a typical deli sandwich, but as the concept becomes more and more ubiquitous, we're seeing "panini" of various shapes, sizes and quality offered at restaurants of all types.

This is not an article about career opportunities for young people in Buffalo. How can Buffalo claim to be rising if it can't absorb its college graduates? Another article (take an inventory) about buildings or art or retail, nothing about strong business relationships, selling to a national and/or international market, etc.

I just wasted 30 seconds writing an answer to someone who thinks that Buffalo can rise by opening new restaurants or remodeling apartment buildings. It's about high paying professional jobs.

Is it true that the Hertel location is downsized and this new adventure is actually a relocation. The new location is a great space, we wish them luck, they have a good reputation to build on.
