A Sale Your Sweet Tooth Won’t Want to Miss

Specializing in corporate gifts, custom logo chocolates and private label products, Choco-Logo is one of the most unique candy stores that you’ll be able to find today. Creating anything from movie themed candy bars (they’ve created candy bars from everyone’s favorite Christmas movie, The Christmas Story – remember Ralphie?) to chocolate in Barry Manilow and Bon Jovi tins, anyone who walks into Choco-Logo is guaranteed to find something that they will like by the time they leave. For the business tycoons out there, Choco-Logo will even create chocolate that has their own company’s logo on it.
Originally just a supplier of chocolate logo items when it was founded in 1985, Choco-Logo opened their retail store in 2006. Since then, it has become the “candy headquarters” for everyone’s major holiday needs, especially Christmas, Halloween and Easter. In addition to this, Choco-Logo does a lot of charity work with organizations like Roswell, Hospice and Help USA. They have recently partnered up with Roswell in a project that gave Roswell patients the opportunity to design tins of chocolate. These tins will be available this summer with portions of the proceeds benefiting the Roswell Park Cancer Institute.
Now in regards to the upcoming sale, as previously mentioned, Choco-Logo will be having their annual summer sale starting Monday, June 23rd and running until Friday, June 27th. This is your big chance to stock up on sweets of all kinds for those summer parties, grad gifts or your own sweet tooth. With all packaged items being 50% off including tins of turtles and packs of pretzels, you’re guaranteed to make any party a hit or put a smile on anyone’s face with these sweet morsels.
This sale also includes one of Choco-Logo’s most popular products, Nutcorn. That’s right, tubs of Nutcorn are all 50% off as well. Nutcorn is famous throughout the country, and consists of caramel coated popcorn, almonds and pecans, all drizzled with milk, dark and white chocolate. And don’t forget to check out Kitchen Sink, Choco-Logo’s newest creation. This one of a kind combination contains the delicious Nutcorn mixed with M&Ms, Cheerios, pretzels and peanuts, all covered with chocolate.
But the sale doesn’t stop here. With everything in the shiny glass case at 20% off, you won’t have to be a window shopper any longer. There’s something for everyone in this case, which includes truffles, caramels, nuts, cherries and chews. You’ll also want to check out the limited edition Camp Choco-Logo bars, only unavailable until June 28th. Although not part of the sale, these bars are only $2 each and help to benefit the Girl Scout Council of Buffalo and Erie County camping programs.
This sale is something that you will definitely want to check out. Hurry in and stock up for the summer and the Fourth of July before Choco-Logo CLOSES for their annual Summer Break, running from June 28th to July 7th. Don’t miss out on this sale or else your sweet tooth will be hurting!
Choco-Logo Confectionery Design is located at 141 Broadway between Elm and Michigan. They’re open Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM, and Saturday by chance or appointment. They are always open online at www.chocologo.com as well.

Buffalo Rising just received this great news from the WNY Chapter of the American Liver Foundation, "Given today's economic climate we understand people cannot give as much as they would like. Effective today, tickets to Flavors of Buffalo 2008 are reduced to $100."
Everyone has a favorite restaurant; that special place for celebrations and birthdays. Maybe you love the food, the atmosphere, the whole experience. Ever wonder who’s behind it all or how your favorite chef makes t …
Sunday Suppers is a Buffalo Rising series that encourages readers to enjoy an evening with good friends and family, while preparing and eating a simple one-dish supper. Ingredients should include fresh produce and local food products. As my picky-eater daughter was preparing for her first year at college, I started thinking about her opportunity to start a Sunday Supper tradition in the dorm. A tasty, nutritious meal made together with roommates and friends could establish a routi …
You know how sometimes you have a conversation with someone and come away with the impression that things are good, and everything is as it should be? After I spoke with the Cichocki Brothers at Camellia Foods, a 3rd generation Polish Sausage and Ham producer in Buffalo, I came away knowing that at the center of everything they do is Family Tradition—as it should be.
The Cichocki brothers, Peter, Patrick and Eric, are at the helm of their Grandfather Edmund’s business that h …
Last month, when I asked readers to list five places they couldn’t live without, several folks mentioned Amy’s Place. A few of them specifically recommended the Margie Meal. So it was with great anticipation that I recently made my first visit to this very cool establishment. Why it took me so long to try this place, I’ll never know. Suffice to say that I’m already looking forward to my next meal there.
I liked the vibe right away when I noticed a sign on the wall that sa …

Is it just me, or does Choco-Logo get an inordinate amount of attention on this blog? Are there no other chocolate or confectionery shops in the WNY area? Or is this a paid sponsorship type thing for coverage?

In the interest of bringing attention to the public, sometimes the entity (artist, not-for-profit, private business) with the best marketing strategies wins more coverage. (I know there's a joke somewhere in there about sniffing for truffles.) It's like an editorial tap on the shoulder.
Keep us apprised, and stay out front. We wish more businesses and individuals would take advantage, though it does grow daily.

I think tzone means that the article seems a bit like self promotion run amok. There's a difference between "bringing attention" and "blatant product pushing." That paragraph on nutcorn could have been lifted directly from a Buffalo News Sunday circular. 50% off nutcorn isn't quite the same as an Avant building construction update. I love articles on bike racks, new developments, restaurants, and political challenges. But a "story" on a chocolate sale? Count me in the confused category.
I think I speak for others, tzone included, that we don't want to see BR becoming the AM Buffalo of the blogosphere. Don't go all Linda Pellegrino on us.

Choco-Logo did not pay to have this article published. The reporter initiated the contact as result of an e-mail she received advertising the sale. E-mails are sent regularly to Choco-Logo customers who request to be on our subscription list.

Wow!
What a bunch of freakin whiners! Sounds like this ChcocLogo guy spent some money to put a business downtown, and I mean downtown, by the looks of it, and you're going to begrudge them a little good press.
Honestly Buffalo will never rise, unless and until we stop with all of these begrudingly negative comments about our own neighbors.
You can go to a Starbucks you freakin bunch of efete snobs, but you can only go to one Choco-Logo.
Way to go Buffalo. All of that negativity is sure to make Buffalo rise again.

I had a blast shopping there at lunchtime yesterday. I was going to announce that I bought the place out, so don't bother going - ha ha ha. There are many bargains to be had - I highly recommend that you do not miss this sale. You'll regret it. I fell in love with my first Johnnie Ryan soda (cherry pop!). It reminded me of Aurora Bottling Works' wares.
